Might any of my fellow watch nerds ever hear of this make? Its a Swiss made pocket watch with the maker name of BONVAL. It runs I picked it up today at a flea market for $5.00. I haven't opened it up yet. Any thoughts? Thank you.
If this is one of the watches sold by Sears, Woolworths, etc, in the 40s through the 70s, it will likely have a low or single jewel movement. Often those later ones are an EB 8800 movement, made in Switzerland, and sent to Hong Kong for assembly into those watches. Let us know what you find when you open the back!
