This is my 1973 Omega Gevene that was gifted to me by a relative.
This is a special one for me as it is also a my birth year watch (I didn’t even realise until I looked up the serial number). One of life’s little coincidences.
My uncle bought it while on a trip through Europe in the 70’s, so this watch has seen more of the world than I have.
I wear it very sparingly, as it needed to be serviced quite comprehensively when I got it to get it back to working order. The crown stem still gives issues occasionally (I suspect it is slightly bent).
But a wonderful watch, and I am glad to be its current caretaker. ❤️

I just recently purchased my birth year watch. It’s pretty cool owning a watch as old as me… like kindred spirits. Enjoy in good health!
Here’s my Heuer vintage 1978
Lovely 😍👏🏻👏🏻
Omega has such a great back catalog of square/squircle/tv/non-circular watches, and this is no exception. Very cool. Congrats!
