P01 Without Locking Mechanism
I decided to experiment and carefully took the bezel lock and links off of the p01. This was done by taking a watch screw driver and applying gentle pressure to the pins securing the bezel lock. They slid out fine and is completely reversible. Some say it completely destroys the uniqueness of the watch but it wears much smaller and lighter and allows me to use 1 piece nato straps again.

Awesome! I will say to be very careful on the 6oclock side. There is a little bent piece of metal in between the friction tube and the case. When I pushed the pin, that little piece sprung out and I took about 30min searching my carpet before miraculously finding it.
Looks super cool. Sounds hard and risky to do, though. I just replaced the leather part with a shark mesh type bracelet, for the beach, and Im loving it.
