My watch to start off Easter Sunday and Spring Break

In the celebration of Easter and the start of Spring Break, I'm wearing my Grand Seiko SBGX115 which is one of the brightest watches I currently own. I really don't have much that is colorful enough to match a Spring or Easter theme. I'll let my shirt and pants add the color to my outfit. I decided to pair it on a white silicone strap I had laying around unused for a while. Not my favorite as I prefer FKM, vulcanized or natural rubber. But, it's what I have in 22mm and white for today. I think it looks good with the watch.

Note for those with GS & Seiko divers, you may know they have larger than normal lug holes. So, please keep in mind and make sure you use spring bars with a wider tip that fit the larger diameter holes perfectly. Your standard spring bars can fit inside. But, they'll be a bit loose and potentially less secure.. and, almost certainly will wear out the lug holes with repeated use as they could grind or scrape away the lug holes as they could move around from handling and general wearing.

Notably on the "Spring" theme, I had reset the watch to Spring forward (3/9/2024) and is still +0 s/d deviation to this day.

The previous stretch of recorded measurements was for about 4 months when we Fall back 1 hour back in 11/18/2024 and it had just only gained +1 second TOTAL. If this keeps up, it will be well within the stated max deviation of +10 per year.. I reckon this watch will only gain +3 seconds per year, maybe possibly +2.. will see for the next 8 months how much it will deviate till we have to Fall back towards the end of the year and I have to reset the watch.

Otherwise, having a clean perfectly symmetrical dial with no date, a rarity amongst GS divers, as well as Seiko divers, too.. I pretty much never have to touch the crown but twice a year.

Perhaps next time I will have a GS Spring Drive to further match a posted "Spring" loaded theme.
