A real daily, tool watch
I am new to this community and happy to say hello with my yesterday’s reflection on my Seiko. Bought it during my trip to Japan, my first kind of „serious” watch purchase. Since that time I was not convinced, bought Tudor Ranger 39 later, sold it for BB54 and now are giving new life to my Seiko Shogun waiting for the delivery. At the beginning, as with all of my new purchases, I was taking care of it, were really upset with new scratches etc. But yesterday, I was looking at it and it finally clicked! I started to love these scratches, it made me finally feel totally comfortable. Maybe its because I am now considering purchases in a different price category. But I think its more that I grew up to it as a daily, tool watch. And since I do not need to think about all the time I can enjoy wearing experience. What are your thoughts, did you have the same moment in time when you actually accepted a watch as „friend” with all its faults and scratches and started to enjoy it all over again?
