so, I finally got my ceramic bezel delivered from AliExpress and installed it last night. it was a pain getting the original aluminum bezel insert out, but after a soak in acetone and an exact blade to peel the edge up, it was pretty easy. if you have followed my mod journey so far, you’re aware I have a second Casio Duro that I installed a flat sapphire with date magnifier, as well as an oyster style bracelet. At this point, I’m not sure what else to take on as a project, although I’m tempted to replace the hands or at least apply some better lume to the hands and indices. I haven’t replaced the bezel on my other Duro, so I may find a full-lumed ceramic insert in a different color to spruce up that watch.
