I know I’m late but it was for a reason.

I present, the 1955 Pontiac Bonneville Special. First shown during the 1954 GM Motorama. This was Pontiac’s answer to the Chevrolet Corvette of the year prior. It was designed to emulate the fighter planes of the age, even using actual instruments on the dash bored. This car was also supposed to be the car to debut Chevy’s new small block engine but the idea was scrapted due to the fear of being copied so instead there is a inline 8 under the hood.
