All the gear and no idea. I love watches but am pretty ignorant on details. Not that it matters. It’s just fun looking at, acquiring and wearing watches of all types.

Thanks so much for taking an interest. It sat in my watch box for years as I wasn’t really a dress watch or gold sort of guy. I’ve also got an 8” wrist, so it felt a bit small for me. I always loved the dial, but the bracelet put me off, so I wore it once every couple of years or so at most. It had never been cleaned or serviced and it was losing around 120 seconds a day. That it ran at all was surprising. I had a friend service it and another make a leather strap and it transformed the watch. Last night was its first outing. I hadn’t even set the date correctly, but I can see wearing it a lot from now on.
