Watches w/ memories

This is not a good watch by most watch fan standards. It’s a bad copy cat of an early 2000’s Tag or something like that. It’s a cheap fashion watch. It has a unidirectional rotating bezel and chronograph looking subdials, when it is obviously not a chrono. The movement is some sort of cheap quartz. But it also has memories. I bought it in my early 20’s, at a department store that no longer exists with people that are no longer part of my life. I was so broke that I had to open one of those god awful store credit cards to acquire it and probably took me a whole year to pay off. One of the indices has fallen off.. probably not worth fixing. I’ll also never get rid of it. It reminds me of where I was in my life. Career first starting.. No kids yet. No real responsibilities either. Here’s hoping you guys have pieces in your collection that have similar memories attached.

Memories are priceless. Our father left a nice watch, nothing fancy, but it was his. My sibling isn't into watches at all and I'd love to hold on to that keepsake too. But its worth so much more to my sibling in a box in the their closet

Gonzo,

I have every watch I've purchased or was gifted. 50 years worth (about 35 watches). I still have my very first watch. Most are out of style or do not run (and not worth repairing)

However, each contains a memory that I cherish. I have no "bad memory" watches. They are stored in a shoebox sized container. Keep the memories...
