Fortis Stratoliner and Novonaut
Finally got the chance today to try the Fortis Stratoliner and new Novonaut
The Stratoliner is a gorgeous and unique looking watch, a mix of dress chrono and brutalist tool watch. Unfortunately, the very straight lugs and deep caseback means it felt unbalanced on my wrist.
The Novonaut is an absolute beast of a watch. It’s a tank and it feels like you could use it to smash bricks and it wouldn’t bat an eyelid.
It also wears a lot more comfortably than the Stratoliner. At 44mm in diameter and 50+mm lug-to-lug you need a pretty substantial wrist to pull it off. This is definitely not a watch for those with delicate twig wrists!

The stratoliner has such a clean, uncluttered look that you don't see often since the likes of the pogue.
