Anyone have suggestions for Scratch Resistant Coatings?

I want to build my own rig for adding PVD and/or DLC coatings on my watch cases and bracelets. I'm thinking about using a vacuum chamber with either an evaporation boat or plasma sputtering. In the meantime, I've tried some of the automotive nano ceramic coatings. They seem to help a little with resisting oil, dirt, and water. Any ideas for scratch resistance, mainly on titanium.
