Timex x The James Brand
I really love this collaboration. I'm not into pocket watch and EDC and I've only known of The James Brand because I see it at the windupwatchshop.com. The simplicity of the dial can take you away. The titanium case is super light and the tone of the sandblast finishing matches the original strap.
This watch can rival the Hamilton Khaki Field. I don't mean to offend Hamilton fans. I also have a Khaki field and i gravitate towards this watch more often as part of my workwatch rotation. I switch it up to a rubber strap once in a while because i wash hands frequently at work and i hate the feeling of a wet fabric strap.
After about 6 or 7 months of intermittent use, the crown came off. Not the whole crown but i guess its an outer shell of the crown. And so I could not unwind it and pull it out. I sent it back to Timex as it was still under warranty and they fixed it. It wasn't a hastle I'm happy to say as their customer service was fantastic.
This was the 2nd collaboration between the two brand. I missed out on first one, the black dial one and I'm kinda glad I did!
I don't mean to make things complicated than they already are! (The hobby of collecting watches)
Nice looking watch! This looks like a variant of the new Titanium Expedition North Automatic. I really like what Timex has been doing over the last several years; Expedition North, Q, Marlin, Gallo, etc. My 36mm Expedition North Post Solar is one of my favorite watches.

I own this 2.0 version also. It’s great to wear and not worry about it. Tough, reasonably accurate, and the dial legibility is very good. Even the lume is good.
Yes on rubber! This wears incredibly well on a rubber... so light. Agree on the customer service, they are solid when I worked with them on another model exchange💪🏽

When it becomes available again, go for it. You will not regret it. I like the textured dial of this black one.

Im thinking of getting the delugs olive green or orange rubber strap for this. I think both is gonna look awesome.

Here is it on a rubber strap. This strap is a repurposed strap from another Timex piece, so the buckle stamp matches and says Timex. Lucky.
