It’s a slide rule. My dad was a petroleum engineer for Exxon and used it daily. It still had pencil marks on it when he gave it to me years later. Most people under 50 probably don’t even know how to use one these days.

I use it to calculate tips based on whatever percentage I want to give. That’s about the extent of what I can do on it.
