Any opinions on SUF watches?

Thinking about buying one of these guys. Any comments or maybe owners of one of the 180's?

I love the looks of these, but they are hard to get and I don't know that they are a value proposition.  You have to be committed to it and know that you can't get more for less. I worry that a large part of the MSRP is exclusivity.

I think they look fantastic. I was a bit sticker shocked by their prices

Love 'em.

This is why I love #watchcrunch. I come across brands that I have never heard of.

@yungboi  I love the salmon dial.

·

I have a tough time with this one.  Design wise or movement wise, it's nothing super special, but I also grant that the devil is in the details with this.

I'm with @Aurelian .  Hard to tell just how much of the MSRP is because they're limited run.

They sold for 2500 bucks before tax making it 3000 for a USA delivery.

·

I really want one if they ever release it as a no-date with the white dial. Most owners seem to really like them, and I believe for good reason.

Very attractive watches but I nearly spat my tea out at the prices! Really? Is that not a typo!?

·

Yea the prices aren't great, but read the hodinkee article about the 180. They call SUF founder "leading name in indy watch making".

·

I have been thinking buying one because they are from Finland but the price keeps me away for now.

hodinkee is the leading fluffer in the watch world.

I’ve looked on the second market multiples, but could never found one. I personally think they’re designed very well, but it is a steep price.

Stepan Sarpaneva is a pretty established and well loved watchmaker and SUF is his "more affordable" watch brand below "Sarpaneva Watches". Much like Kurono Tokyo (Hajime Asaoka) but doesn't use Miyota 9 movements. 😂

I love my 180 "Salmiakki".
