Certainly not high horology, but an interesting brand I recently discovered (thanks instagram). In particular their watches with cases made from recycled ocean plastic and associated support for ocean conservation causes could make them a compelling alternative to say a swatch for a bit of a beater or statement piece. The Sea Shepherd collab (image from Triwa Instagram) is pretty neat looking, though not quite sure it would survive as an actual surf watch.

I bought one of the automatic Triwa Humanium watches only for the fact that it is created from illegal firearms. I see the Humanium and sea plastic watches as something to own to create a discussion and will probably buy a sea plastic watch in the future to keep in the collection next to my Humanium watch that I wear quite often.
I bought a Triwa- Herr Judit collaboration automatic watch in 2012. Have outgrown the watch as I bought it as a young adult and just loved the colours ( that was the extent of the thought process then). I still have the watch today and take it out to wear when on holiday etc.
