grandmother gave me one of my great-grandfathers pocket watches

1910 American Waltham gold pocket watch
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My first watch was an American Waltham gold pocket watch that my great grandfather Henry Roe Cloud gave himself when he graduated from Yale in 1910. He was the first Native American to graduate from Yale
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't be in a rush
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
the micro brands. Vario, Studio Underdog etc... Everyone seems to be wearing the same watches including myself. I like the unique designs that are going against the norm. However, I'm currently enjoying the Vintage side of watches.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Grand Seiko spring drive via a trip to the Grand Seiko headquarters. It's all about the journey and experience.
