Congrats!  That was also my first true luxury watch. I had wanted a Seamaster 300M for 25 years. Got it in late 2020.  It doesn't disappoint.

If you ever decide the bracelet isn't working for you anymore, they DO make a rubber strap WITH a deployant clasp.  You can't buy it that way and it's not on the Omega site. You have to call a boutique and order it.  Yes, you can buy it on a rubber strap which looks the same, but the holes are bigger and it's a traditional pin and buckle system.

Enjoy your watch!

Thank u so much and i have always wanted a Rolex, but the issues with waitlist, the rolex game, and everything around it, i dont want to support business like that and cant afford that either. So the Omega is a sure pure love, the blue and the dials, feeling to love this more than ever is priceless. :)

Thanks for the information about straps, its good to have that in mind for sure. Seems pretty useful too. :)

Hey hey, thank u man and so you have one in black besides the blue one? :)

·

One of my favorites! Congratulations.

·

It is a big hard boy watch. Feel the vibe Of 007

·

Great choice. I am planning to add the SMP 300m (white dial) to my collection :). Will you be swapping the bracelet for rubber or NATO?

Yes, both two tone steel/Sedna gold.  You can see them in my SOTC pic in my profile.  Btw, Seamasters are awesome strap monsters!  I see you have the bracelet, and I would have bought that also if it wasn’t so expensive on two tone.  But if you ever decide you want to change things up, lots of straps go great on the watch.  I especially love Barton canvas and Delugs bespoke leather straps because they are both quick change.  Enjoy!

Thanks a lot man, im not that into NATO straps yet. Not my favorite since i prefer the steel, but someday i want to try rubber or something later. :)

Aha, that makes sense and quite nice choice so i will take a look on it, i can check out what kind of straps you are mentioned here too. The price are sure up n down depends what u buy actually, but you can find many good things if youre good at research. :)

Had mine for over 10 years now and it's easily one of my most recognizable watches thanks to 007.

·

The Seamaster is my grail watch.  When I retire, I am purchasing one, preferably blue but black will do also.  That and a Doxa 300 T.

10 Years is quite good and thats a keeper for sure, James Bond has set this watch on fire and thats a good commercial for Omega. Im glad to have this in my home, great watch and stunning looking. Good as it gets for the time. :)

Im totally agreed with your wishes, i dreamed about Rolex but i gave up the dream and make something who could be realized. The black is beatiful too, i have seen it IRL and it was amazing too. Im a sucker for blue dials am afraid. :)

I have always preferred Omega to Rolex.  And Doxa, well, if Clive Cussler and Dirk Pitt wore one…
