I really like the idea of a mechanical alarm. I don't have one, but I will get one when I can
I agree. When I first heard about a watch having an acoustical alarm, I thought there was some kind of electronics involved, but nope - all mechanical.
I have always thought a perpetual calendar on a mechanical watch is just plain stoopid (sic). Think about it. The first time that the watch is serviced, all that accuracy and updating of the month/year goes out the window as the watch is stopped and disassembled for a complete servicing. One rarely gets to leap year with a mechanical watch. Moon phases, love a moon phase, btw, are equally dumb, at least the ones that don’t require correcting for years on end. As soon as it stops or is serviced....

Love❤!!! Love is my favorite complication🥺.....
If only mechanical watches could do DST automatically... 😫
Sub-second dial. Simple, subtle, effective.

Apparently GMTs & chronographs are my fave (along with divers heh)
I consider my wife my favorite complication...
After that, it's the GMT.

On second thought, the big complication is how do I afford this watch? 😆
Definitely chronograph. Moonphase for second place.
tbh. none of those.
i never use the Speedmaster to time anything.
the subdials are small and i NEVER need to time sth to the exact second.
what i do use all the time, is a diver bezel.
boil pasta for ~8 minutes. use the bezel. easy to set, easy to read.
