Latest Boutique Window Shopping Haul part 4 (Tag, Panerai, IWC)

Tag Heuer:

SA was new I think, broken english, whatever. Tried on a few Monaco's that they had in the back, idk why their most iconic model wasn't out for display anywhere. Coolest thing was that the rotor kind of stops itself when spinning clockwise so that the outline of the rotor outlines the Tag Heuer shield that's engraved on the back. Gulf colors were cool but not something to die for, esp since I'm not a McLaren F1 fan. The "60" at 12 o'clock also looks like "GO" Much more interesting piece was their Mikrograph, basically their Zenith Defy Extreme. Only 50 pieces made, released in 2014, and they are still having trouble selling.

I tried taking a picture of the double balance movement and the SA quickly and quite rudely tbh covered the movement and said no pictures. Here's a video of the 360000 vph https://streamable.com/i9l1cs

Side note: I heard a guy talking about buying some tourbillon as an investment piece and he was trying to negotiate a 19k price tag

Panerai:

Stopped by cuz why the fuck not, I think SA was also new or just didn't understand my question. I asked which watch was their "dive watch" and she said the Luminor Marina can withstand up to 300m. PAM01312 in the pic

IWC:

SA was super chill, talked mainly about F1 and the Miami GP. Learned IWC signed a new 8 year deal with Merc, so that means no IWC for me for 8 more years

I was actually surprised this was only 8k, not some crazy double retail price. Same movement as the Top Gun chrono in ceramic in the photo. I asked about the newest ceramic releases and they haven't gotten them in batch shipments yet, only the pre-orders for their special clients.

Last part is part 5
