Love a good GMT!

I find chronographs so pleasing to look at, I like intricate details on watch dials.

Is a rotating bezel a complication?

triple date moonphase is god鈥檚 complication

I voted chronograph, but my true favourite is the centre seconds hand complication. No, I don't live in the 1940s...

Okay, sometimes I pretend I do.

Is it considered a complication tho? Either way I think they look very pretty as well.

Yes, a centre seconds hand is a complication, although it's so commonplace nobody really recognises it as such. Most watches before the 1940s would just extend the pivot of the escape wheel, creating a sub-seconds hand. A central second hand requires another wheel, the aptly named centre seconds wheel, to go through a (hollow) cannon pinion to the centre of the dial.

So it is a complication in every sense of the word, just a simple one that we almost always take for granted.

GMT has been a much-welcomed addition for me. Day-date is also immensely handy. There should be way more luxury day-date watches
