how amazing it would have been to own one of these watches growing up!
*** What watches did you have growing up? ***
In my late 10’s, I wore Timex’s and Casios. Then in my early 20’s, I acquired two Victorinox quartz - loved them to death - a white face and a black face.
And once I got introduced to mechanical watches - it was game over haha. The idea that watches can function through movement fascinated me! And that fascination and passion hasn’t disappeared since.
As I reflect back to my collection journey, I realize I was, am, and will always be a watch KID at heart - even to my old years. It’s truly a BEAUTIFUL hobby. And it’s an honor to be part of a community of watch lovers young and old.

As a kid, I had Timex, Texas Instruments, and Casio watches. IN my teenage years, the watches i received as gifts moved to Jules Jurgensen and Paul Peugot. The first Swiss watch I purchased for myself was a Victorinox field watch I still have somewhere that I got in the late '90s. I didn't start seriously collecting until later.
As a kid Casio,
Sekonda as a teen.
Swatch in my 20s
Apple Watch first half of my 30's
in the last 2 years... well i'm here aren't I lol, it's when I really started a journey to find the watch for me so Casio and Seiko, Dan Henry and Zelos pretty much sums it up.
It was Timex and Casio as a kid.
