So, I visited my son at work today...

It was basically a field trip, since he works at a Rolex AD. All of the models he showed me were beautiful in their own right, I thought the Explorer 2 was just gorgeous. I wasn't planning on buying anything today, so he did not bother "getting permission" to sell me anything. All the pictures are "exhibition" watches.

So, which one should I beg my son to let me buy?

Are you sure you want to tell us watch people that your son works at a Rolex AD - your inbox will get flooded with requests 😂

Jokes aside, I agree with the others that the Sky-Dweller looks amazing!

·

Sky-Dweller (only because it's the best Rolex watch imo)

·

The Explorer II is the only one I would want to wear. All the others are too shiny, flashy, blingy in my eyes.

·

I’d like the blue Oyster, but buy and wear the Explorer II.

Sky dweller looks absolutely nuts. 👍

·

Explorer II for me - Sky Dweller complication and look is just not my cup of tea

Honestly, the picture of the Sky Dweller does not do it justice. The fluted bezel is made of white gold and is a work of art.

I went in to look at an OP, I would definitely wear that. The green dial actually belonged to one of the other the sales guys.

I respect the technology of the SkyDweller, but there is too much going on for my personal taste.

I'd get the blue OP or the Exp 2 (and get the cyclops knocked off).   They've gotten a little pricy to just pop it off with a chisel mid-2000s style, but I'm sure someone has a way.

I like the magnifier, lol.

I always liked the blue OP but the Skydweller looks great (I guess I'm more into bling than I thought/ I like the complication and it's also blue).

Darn you!  I'm trying to not look at watches I'll never be able to get (3 years on the waiting list and counting for a Rolex from an AD I purchased from before but I guess just not enough).

Sorry, just jealous. My kids are all non-AD working might as well be watch deadbeats to me.

Too funny, he brought out the blue OP and for one brief, awkward moment, I thought he was offering to let me buy it, then he shook his head and laughed, no, "it's an exhibition piece. I don't have anything for you today." 🙁

I like the Green OP for myself (the color of the dummy model I've seen was a bit darker looking than in the photo). Something tells me that the dial might remind you of the Packers too much, though...

So Explorer II.

The green dial was actually one of the other salesman's personal watches. So any color difference is my phone camera. It is my favorite OP color.

Very funny, I had not considered the ramifications of owning a green OP in relation to my NFL loyalties. It is just so nice to look at or at least it was until you mentioned the Packers.

Mine too. It is different, but conservative. It has the traditional Rolex green, and reminds me a bit of 1970s-1980s Polo Ralph Lauren style (in a good way).

I like the look of the Sub on your wrist!

Skydweller or sub.

I like the Oyster.

I like the Oyster.

Such a classic design, I could definitely go with one of those.
