IWC Mark XVIII, a perfect blend of elegance and sportiness

Pilot watches have always fascinated me, and the Mark series from IWC is one of the most iconic in this genre. The Mark XVIII, in particular, is a stunning timepiece with a design that exudes classic elegance. It has a legible, accurate, and durable dial that reflects its history and character. It is not a flashy or complicated watch, but it has a timeless design that will never go out of style. There are a few dial options, but this blue one is definitely my favorite. The watch is powered by the reliable IWC caliber 35111, which is based on the Sellita SW300-1, with a date function and a 42-hour power reserve. It also complements various strap options, adding to its versatility and appeal.

For me, this watch is the perfect mix of elegance and sportiness. What other watches would you add to this category?

I agree....one of my most worn watches......also got the blue version (Le petit prince) but on the bracelet, in this version the bracelet comes with polished center links (the black version is all brushed).....so I did brush the center links myself and now it is just perfect for me

I have to say, you did a great job!

I love the design, but couldn't stomach IWC's asking price for what amounts to an SW300-1 powered three-hander. So I went the homage route:

thanks, it was pretty simple though....I just used a Scotch Brite Pad for doing the dishes...cut it up in very small long pieces and brushed the center links....20 minutes and it was done 😉
