Wore my Moonwatch to the NASA Space Center in Houston

So, I figured there would be a nod to the Moonwatch here at the Space Center in Houston. But I had no idea that basically every model / outfit in the building has a Moonwatch on their wrist. One dummy, as featured above, has TWO moonwatches on! I was already wearing a watch this morning so my wife rocked the 3861 on a marine nationale.

Paid for by Omega?

With blood, sweat and tears. Real history and performance are why they are there but no denying that Omega doesn't market the holy crap out of it. If the Rolex chrono managed to survive NASA testing and get picked instead, I can't imagine what their immense marketing machine would have done with that extra bit of history. Capitalism.

It’s become such a trope for Omega. I notably didn’t see a Seiko Pogue or some very realistic basic Casio. What I really kept thinking was: “these watches belong on wrists, not on display”.
