I always wanted to learn how to fly but my instructor told me I couldn’t get in the plane until I got myself a pilot’s watch. You & I will get on just fine Mr Instructor.

You cannot buy time they told me. Great, I thought, finally an addiction with minimal effect on my lifestyle or health. If you bump into they, tell them I want a word.
