And now, one of the cheapest Seiko to be posted today… $60 when purchased new.

I purchased the Seiko Field Watch about 13 years ago, and never wore it. I feared I was going to soil the beige cloth strap. I wore it 4 or 5 times in the 13 years. Today, I switch the strap for a leather strap so this Seiko can have some wrist time. PS: I showed my son a photo of the Seiko with the new strap and he said, “Did you take the strap from one of my Pateks and put it on your Seiko?!”

Oh yes, I bought mine in 2015 for $43. Still works and I’ve swapped out the OEM strap for a NATO

The gateway watch. I do love the cream dial

Actually that would be quite the hoot to see, a Seiko 5 with a Patek original strap. 😂👍

13 years? The strap is easily washable right? And, you could've gotten it all sorts of straps to change out often. ;)

Bought that exact same watch for $60 Kanuck-bucks back in 2017. Did in fact soil the original beige strap, so switched it up for the black strap that comes on the SNK809 ... looks waaaaay better! 👍

Bro, I bought every single color of dial when they were at that price..... 😂.

Only have the blue dial one, gave the rest away to my dad, brother, etc.

You should see how much the price has jumped on the Khaki Field Mechanical.

Dont believe in investment pieces, whatsoever, checked the price the other day and was quite shocked.

Saddens me a bit, since its not just inflation, but brands huffing their own farts so to speak and being "authentically exclusive" or something 😂.
