My 8yr old wears a timex set to GMT on one wrist and a seiko set to local time on the other. He has already laid claim to my watch collection and looking fwd to the day he is going to inherit it.
If I had children, or someone in my family that was interested, I'd start divesting them at certain milestones based on the pieces. For example, I'd not give a Rolex to a teenager and would wait until I felt they had matured.
My father has been giving me various items (firearms, jewelry, family heirlooms, pictures etc.) over the past couple of decades. This really didn't start until I was in my 20s.
Each person's child and path is different. Glad to see your son is interested in these things, if I had a son, I'd be VERY proud of this among many other things.
I have 4 girls and 1 son and they like watches but they get annoyed I get one at least once a week 😂😵💫…
sure they can have my collection when I die…
I plan on passing on my collection. When? Whenever I meet the big fat Buddha in the sky
Don’t have kids… yet, but I will prob hand mine off down the road. I really like the new Blok Watches to help kids learn about telling time though.
