Congrats. I am big fan of the 1655 also. It is a very unusual watch within the vintage world and I love the quirky dial layout (which takes some getting used to). The problem is finding a good example without exchanged parts etc.

I see you also use a leather strap with orange stitching, same as I do; it picks up the 24 hour hand so well like that!

Agreed! I have the original bracelet as well but I do find the straps more comfortable!

I think it is a superb vintage watch .  I prefer it to the modern Rolex designs .
