If you already know, what's your next watch?

And how long have you been waiting to get it / in how long do you plan to get it? I'm curious know how patient people are when it comes to watch buying and see how the price of the watch and the waiting time correlate (or not).

Well… my wife apparently got me a solarbeat for Christmas, which she ordered in October and still hasn’t arrived. Maybe get it just in time for Christmas 2022 😂

In general, I’ll wait as long as it takes to get the money saved if it’s an expensive piece that I know I want - I’ve learned that settling and buying something similar to scratch the itch just winds up with me being unsatisfied in the end. As I’ve joked before… I end up buying a lot of straps instead.

I am pretty sure my next piece will be the Serica 4512 - with the only thing holding me back is that I can’t decide on the California or Commando dial… leaning heavily California though.

I’m getting married in September and plan on getting a Longines sector dial for myself for my wedding watch. My only hesitation is my fiancée/dad buying me a watch for my wedding.. which will obviously be worn before anything I purchase myself.

Contacted my AD October ‘21.  This is for an OP36 though. I don’t have my hope high. But if it comes I will get it in a hearbeat.

Tudor Panda is also in the list. I haven’t received the call since July ‘21.

I must admit, temptation to get then grey market is always there. I hope I can make it till the call comes

Lmao everyone talking about Tudors, Longines, datejusts, then there's me patiently saving up for a Casioak

·

One of the new Seiko Alpinists, but I’m buying the engagement ring this year, so I gotta save some money.

·

Hopefully a Tudor BB 58 M79030B-0003 (blue on the blue/silver fabric strap).

·

I once waited three years for a watch repair, so I am probably patient enough for most watches, even some waitlist spanning years.

·

Depends on the tax return. Either the Squale 1521 (blue dial of course) or a Certina DS-1 - the one with the Roman numerals and white second hand. Solid all-rounder with an ETA 2824 for under $300? Crazy.

·

Ordered a Casio Duro this morning!

·

Looking at some vintage Seikos. Got a few in mind but its a real mine field trying to find a fully original in decent shape.

·

My next watch will be a tissot prx quartz (blue dial). I got my last watch only this month for my graduation, but i still want to buy a prx when i'll get a job and my first paycheck from it.

·

I have a special edition Christopher Ward C63 GMT ordered, that is supposed to arrive in March. Already paid for, so it's just a waiting game...

·

Just ordered my grail watch, an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra (41 with the white dial, orange accents). I have been waiting about 2 years to get this piece and am so excited for it come in!

Congratulation on the grail!

I'm constantly deciding between 5-6 watches, so no, I do not know myself. I mean, do I need a dress watch with a blue dial more than my next project? Should I forego the watch and buy tools? Or will I just run into an incredible deal on a grey market site?

I’ve been wanting this watch for a few years now. It’s the best do all watch in my opinion.

·

Its already here, i havent started building it. 🤣

·

I plan on getting a speedy pro sometime either next year or the year after that. The only other plan I have right now is to eventually sell my Ginault and my Oris 65 to get one nice diver. I am currently torn between a Seiko SLA049 or a Tudor BB58

·

Seiko “Arnie”!!!

·

Anything from Cartier CPCP

·

My difficulty is that I have a grail in mind (GS white birch), but we are likely talking 18months to 2 years for me to save up for that (they will have probably stopped making them by then 😆). I have a couple of other watches I would love, such as an original Accutron and an Alsta, but do I get those before my grail and so delay getting the GS? Or do I leave them until after my grail and commit to two years of no new watch purchases? 😬 Hard decisions.

still narrow down

Seiko SBDX001/017/023 ; Seamaster 2264.50 ; Breitling SuperOcean 42; Tudor BB58 or pelagos LHD
