@Shbamn50 found some info ∆
Some research on https://mybulova.com/sites/default/files/watches/dhhirsch%201925%20Bulova%20a%2011%2010%2015-7912.jpg turned up this:
The Bulova Senator, started exactly when my movement was built. The engraving isn't the same, and it only happened on the first couple iterations until they changed the case design completely in 1933:
You know he’ll lawyer you out of the five GS’s, because he said any one watch, and might even lawyer you out of the cash equivalent. I dunno, they’ll get ya sometimes those tricky buggers, so I’d be ready to get only one.
It’s always five o’clock somewhere, right? That’s how timezones and daydrinking works if I’m not mistaken.
There’s nothing tastier than a cold one after chores on a warm day.🍻
The movement is labeled as a 15J 10AN, and by my quick lookup dates those movements being made between 1925 and 1937. Isn’t that engraving just a hoot?! I’m absolutely tickled that it’s a 20mm strap (that’s just an Islander strap from the Penn model).
