I was trying to get a Sea-gull through Ali Express for the sheer history...but could not click on the buy button....afraid whether the purchase is from an authentic source....since this watch is not cheap....atleast on my budget...Where did you source yours from?
A cracking watch. The only thing I found unlovable on mine was the quality of the supplied straps. Both the Nato and the leather straps were quite nasty, but a doddle to replace with something with the same style in a better feel.
Especially the price for a mechanical column wheel Chronograph! Really cool for sure.

I really love the nato supplied, and the leather strap is really supple, although not fitted it on watch yet. ;-)

Saw it...looks genuine....bought it...not cheap $170
Somehow this watch works from every angle... I normally dont care much about the movement of a watch (I'm happy with a NH35 all day)
But this one is just plain beautiful to look at...
My only grief with this watch - I am just not used to handwinding and keep forgetting to wind it.🤷♂️

Agreed. I love mine but the NATO strap is much too long (and flimsy) and the "leather" strap is a joke. I put mine on a nice dark brown Hirsch strap. It dressed it up very nicely.
Yes, it is a beautiful watch. I own two of them (one sapphire and one acrylic). I could stare at the movement all day. However, I also own a Baltic Bicompax with the same movement. The difference in the finishing of the movement in the Baltic versus the Seagull is quite striking. It is known that there are a lot of fake Seagulls out there. But at that price it is hard to beat whether it is real or fake.
