Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My dad's a total watch nerd; I caught the bug from him.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A simple child's quartz dress watch. I still have it! My daughter will get it when she's a year or two older.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My grandfather's Omega Seamaster Cosmic. My mom bought it for him in Switzerland in the late 60's. I inherited it when he died, and have loved it ever since.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't listen to people who say you can't wear some watch because of its size, or because it's "too masculine/feminine." If you like wearing it, wear it!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I bought my first Baltic recently and I love it!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A gorgeous-dialed Grand Seiko with a Spring Drive. One of these days.
