Favourite Suwa Seiko back on wrist today ✨

The “Suwa dial” refers to the use of the Suwa stylized “S” symbol that was used to designate that a watch was made at the Seiko Suwa factory in Japan.

The Suwa dial was used from 1976 to about 1980, and has the Suwa symbol just below the “Water 150m Resist” text.

This watch also has the text “Japan 6309-704L T” along the bottom edge of the dial.

Outstanding Marko. Here's my birth year watch with the Suwa logo on the caseback (1970).

That is fantastic Danilo ⚡️ not only the logo, but also the ‘Japan A’ designation on the caseback from what I understand authenticating it as produced in the Seiko Suwa Factory in Japan as opposed to the later produced watches that had the Japanese movement and dial cased in Hong Kong. That’s a keeper!

One of the best watches hands down.
