I really like the look of a quality fitted rubber strap, such as this Everest I use for my Sub, however I prefer this watch on the bracelet.
I also really like the Cartier rubber straps, and almost never wear my Santos on the bracelet, as I prefer the way it looks with the rubber, not to mention that I find it more comfortable.
My favorite fitted rubber strap is the black Oysterflex with a gold YM or Daytona, but unfortunately I don't have either in my collection.
I've always preferred the simple stick markers and hands of the OP, however the design of the hands makes them harder to see at a glance, especially in certain configurations. I have a silver dial OP36 and love the look of the watch, but the hands tend to blend in with the dial. They stand out more on the black dial, but I still feel that the Explorer hands are ever so slightly easier to see at a glance.
Absolutely love this. I've put my name down on the list to be notified if/when they do a restock. I wish the bracelet links were a bit more like the bezel and dial though - they look too straight.
The only watch in my collection with Roman numerals is the Santos De Cartier. I'm not normally a fan of Roman numerals but I feel that they really work well with this particular design.
My favorite use of Roman numerals is on a watch that I don't own - the old Rolex Cellini Time. I really like the elongated numeral design that makes them appear like stick indices at first glance.
The only Seamaster in my collection is the "electric blue" (ref # 2255.80) with the sword hands. I love the way that this dial plays with the light, and the thinner profile of this generation.
