Budget friendly quartz tool watches, what’s your favourite?

So weirdly*, I’m getting into quartz tool watches and playing in the sub £150 market looking for some good stuff like the Citizen Excalibur there. What are your favourite picks across the tool watch spectrum?

*All about mechanical for about 9 years and suddenly, this whatever it happens to be, has started!? 🤣

The Duro is a champion amongst watches. I still cannot fathom what Casio charge for these, and what you get for said price.

I suppose it also depends on what you want to class as a tool. This Cooper Pathfinder is a field watch and G10 homage, but at around £60 is an absolute steal.

Digital all the way as the analog ones die from tool vibration. Unless your an office worker then anything goes. No one that breaks a sweat working wears expensive watches to do it.

·

Personally I love quartz watches:

Any Casio.

Timex has worked for me for over 20 years.  It gets more arm time than my other watches combined.

I love the Promaster Tough line.. Too bad it's discontinued.. I wonder if they'll come up with another model soon like the new Promaster land that's available in Japan.. I have the bn0151 which is very tool-ish and indeed the eco-drives are a brilliant tool watch movement, no need for mentenance and very resilient..

I got mine last Christmas from Francis and Gay jewellers in the UK. Worth getting on the titanium band its a few more quid but very good quality.

I have the black version and they are really great watches, lightweight yet solid and just look so good on virtually any strap

Sadly I found the titanium bracelet too uncomfortable for me and passed it on

·

I've not had any issues. Quality is good. I find it very light with the bracelet so if you put it on a nato or similar it must weigh virtually nothing!?

I would, but I like the blue version and no one is selling that on the bracelet. Bit of a shame as I like options and definitely don’t want to have to track down the bracelet separately.

I almost bought the blue. I saw several reviews praising the titanium bracelet so went with that in the end even though it was a bit more money. But I do like the blue still and the variety it could go with..
