Tissot PRX Quartz Pink Dial

I've been always wanting to get a quartz Tissot PRX 35mm but was always couldn't pick the right colour for myself. I was considering to get either a popular ice blue dial for summer or a blue dial to wear for any dress code.

I was debating myself for a few months until new pink dial and mother of pearl dial were released recently for quartz version. I had to visit the nearest Tissot boutique and see for myself.

I was mesmerised by the pink dial because it wasn't a very bright pink but a very subtle pink like a salmon dial which I think is a unique colour that won't be found in many watches. Therefore, I went for the pink dial instead of the ice blue dial.

Don't get me wrong, ice blue dial was also very attractive but thought that it was more like a silver dial than an ice blue dial unlike the powermatic80 version and I already own a silver dial.

I also thought that Ice blue dial would be easier to find than a pink dial on other watches if I were to find an ice blue dial watch. I also own lots of "serious" and formal looking coloured dial watches like black, white and silver and one casio tiffany so I thought that this could my collection a little bit more "fun".

Another reason behind my choice is that the ice blue dial looked better in the mirror but looking at my own wrist, the pink looked better. and I am not so interested in impressing others with my watch but to impress myself.

A pink dial could be an unpopular choice between men but hopefully this watch could break that wall for other men out there.

What do you guys think of this new dial and the new mother of pearl dial for quartz? anyone planning on getting one of the new colours? and why?

You did make the rigt choice, its somthing new colour wise.馃

I鈥檝e considered the 35mm MOP auto several times. Held a PRX at my local mall and it didn鈥檛 attract me in the way I thought it would. Purple dial would be nice, because that鈥檚 my favorite color. Although no fan of pink, it works here

Love the pink!

same here. I also went to the boutique with a high expectation that the PRX quartz MOP would attract me the most but it didn't really impress me as much as I expected :(

and yes purple dial would have also been one of my choice too! except I waited too long to get a PRX for myself and couldn't wait longer till it may or may not release the purple :s

thanks!

Oof now I'm debating whether 35mm would be too small for my wrist or not lol.

Great watch and great dial colour, congrats馃憦馃徎馃コ

I think the pink is super cool! The prx quartz has so many fun colour options

Absolutely. Enjoy. Looks great on your wrist.

It looks great馃憣, I think the bracelet is great, just the way it t catches the light. Also different in the punk but love the way in some lights it's almost salmon. A very good choice, hope you enjoy.

Great watch and a awesome color!

Congrats馃帀

I'd say go for 35mm if your wrist size is below 6.5 inch/ 16.5cm. I've also tried on 40mm on my wrist but it wears really big because of its integrated bracelet which doesnt fold near the lug. I would say that the lug to lug for 40mm is not 45mm like it said on the website. Its more like 52mm of lug to lug so yea. However, wearing watch small is also versatile and its wearability is amazing!

For perspective here's my 38mm Phoibos Narwhal that I've been using as my daily. 38mm with 46mm lug to lug. Is a few mm smaller than the photo suggests

wow thats a very special dial right there. and the size looks perfect on your wrist. 35mm prx surely has small diameter but its effective lug to lug is 45mm which is quite similar to your watch!

Yea they dropped a few of these with mineral dials. A green and yellow jasper, an aventurine. And this, which is howlite.

This is pretty hilarious. I just got the same watch, and I was going to post about it, pretty much on the same vein. The watch was described as a "ladies" watch. I have a blue 40mm PRX that I never wear, I find this 35 however is the perfect size for me. I can see this becoming my go to watch. It's also my 6th pink watch (fun fashion fact, in the 1920's pink was considered a masculine color because it was also considered a red) so I doubt the novelty of the color will wear off.

oh damn! first person I've seen wearing the same watch! good to know :) The watch looks nice on you, looks better on your wrist than mine. Whats your wrist size btw? and yes pink shouldn't only be women's haha and also already have this watch on my wrist for past few days because of it's light weight sometimes I forget its on my wrist.

I have a 7.5 wrist. I tend to actually prefer smaller watches which is one reason most of my collection is now vintage. Though I am thinking about Kuoe and Baltic. I like the sizes and the watches are pretty classic. And for the record, I think the watch looks pretty terrific on your wrist as well. It is a really nice watch!

oh damn I was actually thinking of getting one from either Kuoe or Baltic. If I were to get one from Kuoe, I want a Royal Smith panda dial but it seems like its sold out :( and a Prismic or a Aquascape from Balti because of their sizes.

Wow that looks so good!
