Nomos Glashütte Collection

This is where I am with Nomos currently. Any other Nomos fans out there?

I don't have any myself, but I recently saw this one and thought it was spectacular!

Don’t have one… yet. I like the campus coral with the grey strap. The brand is on a “short”list ( that keeps f*cling growing!!!!) of possible up coming purchases.

·

Yep, in fact I’m rocking the Club today and have a Tangente at home.

·

I don't have any NOMOS, but I really like that Club Sport.

Bought that for my wife to celebrate her promotion

·

So far, I only have one Nomos watch.

A Metro 41 Update

I also love the Lamda series, but for now that's too expensive for me and I can't justify dropping that much money on a single watch.

Besides I like the Club Campus in electric green. But in afraid, that it's a bit too small on my wrist.

I debated for a long time, between the Nomos Tagente vs Junghans Max Bill, for a simple dress watch. Ended up going with the Max Bill Bauhaus for the less busy dial. I've not fully connected with the Max Bill's dome shape, and rather "meh" (stock) black leather strap. My wife has worn it more than me, and thinking she will keep it. In replacement I'm thinking again about a Tangente, for its more apparent bezel, blue hands, and seconds sub-dial.

I have a Nomos Club 703. Absolutely perfect daily watch for me, changes straps fairly often. At 36mm and manual wound it's super easy to wear and forget you have on. Waiting for a Zurich Worldtimer for my next Nomos. I like the looks of the Lambda a lot but for the price new pretty hard to justify in my opinion. Would probably consider a used Lambda since the price is typically nearly half the list price. Love the watches though!

Not yet, but the colors on those square ones are fantastic.

I will buy one eventually 😢

·

If only they have shorter lugs. I would have add one in my collection. Just like longines, super long lugs. 😮‍💨

·

Yes,I love my tetra

·

incredibly jealous of that Nomos collection! i love their designs and everything they’re doing. my personal favourite in their lineup is the new Club Sport 37. It’s the perfect size. The only thing that held me back was the long lugs. I tried it on and it just didn’t look right to me. i wish i had the wrist to pull it off. it’s a beauty.

I used to have four but down to two only now, but I think the best of the bunch

My only Nomos, Ahoi 553.

Like them but just can’t justify the money to the missus who thinks they look like Fossil watches … note , I like them alot , I mean A LOT !

You and me both. I’m finding all this Nomos flashing distressing - too many reminders of what could be had but for the need to justify!

·

I don't own any but I've been admiring the 35mm Orion and Tangente models for years and years. I also missed out on picking up a Club 'Dunkel' ~10 years ago and have been kicking myself ever since...

I don't own one yet, but I do like the Club Sport and (until a disaster earlier this week which has rinsed my finances) was saving for one.

Now I'm saving for a pint of milk, the Nomos will have to wait 😂

Worse than Liz Truss? It must be bad.

Good luck though. 👊Stay resilient - it’s only money.

Like 'm a lot, don't own any yet. Have seriously considered:

Favouring the Orion design over the Tangente now.

Is this a special edition, because it looks awesome but never saw it in the flesh so far? 😎

Yeah, it's a special/limited edition made for (and partly designed by) the Nomos Watch Club: https://nomoswatchclub.com/nomos-watch-club-36 . . . don't think anyone really knows how many were made . . . but probably not many . . . the size prob turned a lot of people off for people not familiar with Nomos (they of course wear larger than their case might suggest) and don't think many people really knew about the order window.

·

I like Nomos more and more, every time I see them. I used to think the minimalist approach just wasn't my style, but now I'm really digging some of their pieces. One of these might be in my future! 😎

·

I’ve been so close to pulling the trigger on a Nomos so many times over the past few years… but just can’t quite get there.

I really enjoy their designs and overall clean athletic. The movements are beautifully finished if a bit short on power reserve. The sizes all fit me well even with longer length.

Not sure why I never can quite get there. Maybe I’m subconsciously unsure they’ll bring me as much happiness on my wrist as they do seeing on others.

Another thing I loved about the Tangente (have owned several) is the shape of the case and the flat crystal. Such a great piece!

·

I'm borrowing my partner's Ahoi right now.

I recently bought my first Nomos. I really like the stripped back, minimalist aesthetic. I find myself looking at the dial many times when I don't have to. It is the perfect counterpoint to my other watches with more detail dials.

The autobahn is on my list for sure. In some ways perhaps the least Nomos Nomos there is... but it’s beautiful

·

I don’t have one but they’ve caught my eye with how stunningly simple their design is on the club sport.. 7.5 inch wrist so I’m sort of thinking the 39mm is going to be the best fit.. downside being they don’t do this size with the petrol dial, but the smoke seems very appealing so…. Anybody of a similar wrist size who owns one could maybe advise me on sizing would be great. Fit, look, comfort etc??
