Which is the best affordable field watch?

I have been looking at these three watches for a long time! I just can鈥檛 decide 馃檲It should fit my rather small wrist and ideally I can also wear it as a casual office watch. Max. budget is 200.- EUR.

I like the solar powered theme for a field watch and I prefer watches without a date window so I voted for the Timex. Although I suspect the Vaer will give you the most bang for your bucks since it's a better brand in my opinion, but that date window is a bit meh.

To be controversial I would say none of them, this is instead. 拢30 from Argos in the UK!

I fully agree with the solar theme and Vaer is definitely a great choice! The date window doesn鈥檛 bother me too much. I鈥檓 just worried about the ticking noise on the timex 馃槵

This one was not on my radar!! Thanks for sharing :) How is the ticking noise? I prefer quiet watches.

Timex, because no date 馃憤馃徎

Are you going for vintage or modern looks? I would be split between VAER and Citizen, which is more of a pilot watch and has the day of the week that could be useful in the office.

Voted VAER because I like the vintage vibe. Reminds me a lot of my small Hamilton khaki.

Vintage! :) And you are right about the usefulness for the office. The VAER just looks soooooo nice and also comes with sapphire crystal

I don鈥檛 have experience with Vaer, so I chose Citizen over Timex because I have both and just feel that Citizen is just that little bit better overall.

I love Citizen as a brand and have several, but the Vaer!!!!

I have a 6.25" wrist, and I'd go with either the Vaer or the Timex. I've never found a Citizen or Seiko that fits me properly.

Vaer: Lugs dip below case, screw-down crown, decent lume.

Timex: Lugs dip below the case, no screw-down crown, Indiglo.
