My first mechanical watch arrived today!
After weeks of reading, watching videos, and waiting for stuff to arrive, today I just got my first mechanical watch! So happy 😀 It's been around 20 years since my last watch, I became interested again about a month ago via some youtube videos.
I actually bought first a Seiko SNK809, but it still haven't arrived. That brown leather strap was meant for it, I'll decide later which watch gets that strap.

The brand Sea-Gull makes the best ones and they are more money than the rest for a reason. more care and lubricant goes into them. There are a lot if them making those watches for the fast buck.

You're probably right, but the "genuine" thing is more than double the price. For me, that's the difference between buying and not buying the thing. Considering the build quality is largely the same, same movement, etc, I opted to roll the dice on the cheaper one. Time will tell.
And this is the measurement from the Watch Accuracy app. Seems I got a pretty good one!
