Update - I bought the diamond paste and spent an hour yesterday grinding at the watch. It's mostly fixed, you can't see it on most angled, there's a shallow ridge where the scratch was, it was really deep. Happy with the results.
Still wish Seiko would ship sapphire on this.
If you get one for 100 bucks or less, they're solid. Usually crap lume, but solid construction and specs for the price. I really like mine.
