A while ago I was asking for suggestions for a midsized white dial everyday watch. I got lots of great suggestions and spent hours researching these.
But in the end I went with something not mentioned in the post - because I am quartz-curious at the moment, was was looking for high quality quartz watches as well. And when I put those two together, instead of the off beat microbrand watch I usually feel drawn to I picked 27 year old quartz watch from a major manufacturer - this is my new (old!) white dial quartz everyday watch 😬
I wasn't aware that these tiny proto-Aqua Terras came in white, I had only seen blue and silver dials yet.
First impressions are good, it's size feels similar to the watches I wear most - it is really slim though. I apologize in advance for the repetitious WRUW pics over the next days, gotta try out the everyday watch 😉

Enjoy your new watch! Awesome piece👏🏻
Looks fantastic! I didn't know ATs came with those hands.
Also, I have a Seamaster 300M quartz model and can attest to the awesomeness of Omega quartz!! To have such a beautiful watch for a grab-n-go is an enthusiasts dream!
Enjoy!

Thanks! It's a Seamaster 120m, the predecessor to the Aqua Terra. It's more of a slimmer 300m, not an own line like the AT is..
Absolutely awesome choice! Congrats! This is a beautiful watch
Congrats. love the choice, something fairly rare from the big O. Excellent pick.
Beautiful watch a choice! I love the white dial, and clear inspirations into the SMP300 that came out right after (wave dial, bracelet, skeleton hands? not sure of their official name). Looks great on your wrist as well!
Does not being able to use it in the water (due to it's age) sway your feelings on how you like the watch? Personally, I don't think it would unless the watch was relatively expensive.

The "Bond" SMP and this one both came out in 1993, they share a lot of design elements. It feels like the mini me version 🤣
I'll just put in a new gasket when I swap batteries, that'd be enough to ease my mind before the first swim 😎

Wow I was way off, for some reason I had thought this was 1990 and the SMP300 was 1995 (with the film).
Brave of you, I wish you the best!

Thanks! You'll read about it in my upcoming post "Help! There's water in my vintage omega" 🤣
Beautiful. 😍 Great find, bud, and great shots too! Congrats and enjoy! 🍻
