NWA: Unexpected 90s Neon Swatch

Hi watchfam, so yesterday i checked the swatch website after a long time and thought, that i would be in the market for a new one. They are not expensive, reliable, collectable and just fun. I saw this model but sadly it is only 34mm.

Today i had some businnes to do in Munich City and i stopped by the Swatchstore at Sendlinger Tor, had a lovely chat with a student, who was working there as a salesperson and took a look at all the new releases. And i really liked this special watch. It has a 90s neovintage esthetic and is a remake of the Swatch SKYCHART GN705 from the 90s. It's just loud, colourful and fun. So i thought about it and bought it 2 hours later. Allthough it is just 34 mm small it fits suprisingly well. I think it's because of the colours and the presence of it. I don't know if i will keep it in the collection, but for now i have a(nother) great summer watch and 75€ wasn't the big spend. So maybe one day, if i don't wear it anymore i will just gift it to somebody close to me.

But for now i'm just really happy about it.

What are your experiences with swatch?

What do you think of this one? Too small?

Also show me your swatches😊

Let's get tallkin!

Cheers crunchies🥂

Love it! What a fun watch! I recently found my original Swatch, the Tonga GL100 from the 1986 spring/summer collection, new in box!

Yeah, that's really cool!!

Neat watch. I don’t own any Swatches, per se, but I do have a Victorinox and a Longines from the Swatch Group!

Only gots the mission to Pluto from swatch

Does that count?🙃🥹

I like it. Not too small. Sometimes a 34 can wear as a 35. The great thing about a Swatch is that it's a minimal investment for something that can be a fun and nice change-of-pace. Congrats!

Thank you! Somehow it is not to small, that's true. But i have a 007 Casino Royale Swatch as well in mainly black colouration and i can't wear it because it is to small. This one on the other side just fits. I think it is more dominant because of the colours.

Btw, you inspired me to finally buy this Swatch I have had my eyes on for a few weeks. There's just something about it that I find so cool.
