A Special Watch for a special friend💙
Hi watchfam,
So i have a story to tell:
Spending silvester with my favorite couple and celebreating her birthday, we also talked about watches. They know i'm the watch guy around. Noticing an Armani watch with a fake chronograph design on his wrist i gently suggested him to get a properly made swiss watch.
As you all already know i deeply love the PRX, so i showed him mine in person and the tiffany online. He was immediatly in love with the tiffany and we made a deal that i will get one for him.
The problem: It was really hard to get.
It's kinda funny that nobody in Munich has it in their shops and there are waiting lists for this model. On Chrono24 it also trades nearly double the price.
So i called my AD and asked him if he could get one for me and was told that he just orderd one and will multiply the order for me. Problem solved, because i have the best AD ever.
After some transactions i finally bought it (with a discount, travelcase and a bottle of sekt) in his name exactly one month after silvester, the same day i bought my Green Waffle PRX. I really like the idea of the two watches being siblings cause of the date and occasion they were bought.
As it was his first proper watch i feeled the need to bring it over to Munich by myself, present it to him at lunch and combine it with a little shopping afterwards.
And today was the big day. The day he finally got the watch he fell in love with. The day seeing my dear friend finally wearing a watch that matches him and his character on an equal level and suits him very well over all. We enjoyed a really great italian lunch together and his eyes went big, when he opend the box and saw his dreamwatch for the first time handson.
He is happy and i'm happy, too.
I simply enjoyed bringing the joy of the watch hobby to my friend and hope that the secretly placed virus of watchenthusiam will do its magic over time.
May he enjoy his new watch a lifetime long!
