New Collector. Where to spend my £250 ?

Hello Watch Crunchers. I'm slowly building my watch collection and I need your help !

I have a casioak, an automatic diver (depth charge) and a dress watch (Tissot Visodate Quartz) . I have around £250 to spend right now. I'm missing a sports/field/GMT watch. Which of these options should I go with ?

Any other suggestions welcome please.

Mean this in a loving way.

If your not sure don’t buy anything

Take more time to think about it.

Then when you can factor more reasons as to which one to pick and why for only your self will you be ready to pick.

We can vote

But you have to live with the watches you choose.

Best of luck to you!

Get the one that that you like and don't try to conform to what strangers on a web forum tells you would be the best for you.

Yes! Absolutely. A lot of times I do think to wait for some more time, maybe save up more and then buy something that I'm absolutely sure of. Maybe I'll do that or maybe will get something now. Still processing :). Thanks

Yup. Will most probably end up doing that. However, since it's an ocean of options out there and I'm aware of only a few, putting it out helps me to learn and possibly explore more options :)

You're welcome. Propably Dugena could ve hard to find in other countries but maybe on private seller websites as like ebay. There are actually even more affordable german watch brands but mostly for classic design watches.

Field watch. I like Victorinox or Hamilton.

Field watch. I like Victorinox or Hamilton.

Adore both these brands, especially Hamilton. However both don't fit the budget of £250. Maybe in future :)

You are NOT missing out on anything. You have already got a decent collection with you. Keep the money and look for better candidates. Take a look at Aliexpress watches if you don't mind micro brands. You can get great deals on Aliexpress, specially on the upcoming June 12th sales.

Browse Aliexpress, put your fav picks in the wish list and wait until 12th June. Look for San Martin, Cronos, Proxima, Baltany, Steeldive, Sea-Gull etc. For a bit lower quality option Pagani Design is also quite nice.

Thanks! I have been looking at the Aliexpress watches too. I agree that the value for the money they offer is remarkable, but I am still in two minds about buying these straight-off homage watches, something I have avoided till now. As you mentioned, will keep looking for better candidates
