Can't decide which color of Orient Kamasu to get!
I've been thinking about picking up my first Orient Kamasu, and I'm trying to decide which version to get. Originally I was just going to get the green one, but then I noticed they came out with these vintage looking ones with the circle and baton lume, and a pepsi dial version as well! Those have really interesting looking dials as well in comparison. Not sure what I should get! Still leaning more towards the original green Kamasu, because I do already have a watch with the batons and I feel like it might feel a bit "Submariner-y", whereas the OG has its own identity.

I like the green with hash marks all around the bezel and the not cut off triangle at 12. Tho the fume dial on the bluish green one is cool too.
I like the Pepsi to be honest, they all look good.

A big fan of Kamasu Gen1. Not a big fan of how they executed the vintage lume and gradation in Gen 2. I would always go for Gen 1.

I own the blue dial (RA-AA0002L19B). its a beast. we had a huge flood last year and I wore the thing while working in the mud water at waste hight for hours. still looks incredible. definitly a recommend from me.

Really like the Pepsi option, but that new green dial is really interesting. It would be more unique!
i own original kamasu. but i think if you like green dial you should go with green kamasu 2 with diver indices. its more beautiful than original green kamasu. also from my understanding the newer model have ceramic bezel insert that looks nicer than the original aluminium one

The og red dial or green would be my choice if I were going to pick one up. I sort of do like the new ones too but they lost their originality unfortunately

They also look a little too much like their own ray model as well. So may as well save and get that instead. But og is definitely the more unique.

i might be wrong but when i look at youtube review bezel insert looks like glossy so it has to be ceramic i think
That red letter on the day really bugs me and I think the pepsi best masks it. Pat's doesn't have that so if that is an option I like the green.
I own a red Kamasu I (RA-AA0003R19A) and a green Kamasu II (RA-AA0811E19B).
Overall, I prefer the Kamasu I due to the unique look. Teethmarks and indices across the entirety of the bezel are hard to find at the pricepoint. The Kamasu II definitely has upgraded features in terms of better bezel action and case finishing. Bracelet quality is the same (aka, not good on either watch).
Completely subjective but the vintage white markers on the Kamasu II bother me enough that I want to sell. Kamasu I look is just so unique...it should stand the test of time.
If you like lume don't go with the new stick with the og I've had them both and got rid of the new ra aa08? Something like that lume is no bueno.

I will also say with the green dial depending on lighting conditions it can look like a black dial at times. Finally, I wish Orient would color match the date wheel with the dial. Other than that great watch to own based on the specs and price.

Oh man, I'll definitely keep that in mind! I guess the faux patina on the lume makes it shine way less?
