***NWA*** So excited for this one!

I have recently been on a Lorier kick after finally taking a chance and getting one. I am so sad that I watched and waited so long before jumping on board. This will be my 4th Lorier and honestly it is an absolute stunner. I was going to wait for the restock however this one came up and I could not say no!

Lorier have a really strong presence on here, I’ve sadly not handled one yet. This sector dial looks so sharp, killer indices 😄

I have been watching Lorier for likely 4 or 5 years now. I was heavy into collecting Christopher Ward though and never did more then watch Lorier. Last year I decided to shake things up and sold most my collection. This gave me the room and funds to try new watches so I took the leap and found a Lorier. Now im a bit hooked 😅

The dial is even more stunning in person. It just screams 1950's Cadillac!

You have said before 😅 I wasn't planning on buying this yet (mostly because it's out of stock but that's besides the point lol) however it came up at a damn good price and in Canada meaning no dealing with import taxes or brokerage fees so I talked myself into buying since it was the responsible thing to do! 😂

I feel like (totally biased), as long as you’re responsible with other obligations, affordable watches are something to enjoy buying when the stars lineup 💫

I was very lucky that I bought a lot of my Christopher Wards before price increases. This allowed me to sell them at or near what I had into them (wasn't out to make money on them, just a happy coincidence that I was able to break even while giving someone else a good price as well!) Selling the collection and having that money go into a "watch account" is what has allowed me to do this. Otherwise it is put 20 or 30 dollars a paycheck into the watch fund and wait till there is enough in there to buy. I definitely agree that watches are not something to go in debt over!

I am a HUGE fan of Lorier watches. I will own one some day. They are gorgeous watches. You got a beauty there. Enjoy!

My guy - what a great choice, enjoy!

·

Their best, as far as I'm concerned.

The fact that I would have to pay duties and tax is also a powerful deterrent for me. I wonder how long will it last.

I'm in Canada and this one came up for sale in my province ... I had dreamed it might happen but was not expecting it to lol

One of the best looking watches from a microbrand!

·

I’ve said it before, Lorier has some chops for vintage inspired design. Pretty special.

They Definitely have developed a talent for 60s/70s designs!

That’s one good looking watch…

How has the accuracy been with your Loriers? I've come close to getting a Falcon or Hydra but have heard mixed things about their Miyota movements.

·

Nice Astra! You have a really sweet Lorier collection 👌

My Neptune is +2 seconds a day. My Hydra is +16 seconds a day and my Falcon is -6 seconds a day. I do not know about the Astra yet. The nice thing about the 9000 series is there are lots of people who can adjust it if you want 😀
