I am probably more into cars than watches, to be honest. I have certain watches that I usually try to wear when I drive certain cars. Its probably the nerdiest thing I do, but I like to match the period or feel of a car. This Tissot matches my Bmw 2800cs nicely.

Great way of choosing what watch to wear - but now I need to see a car photo!

Great car! This was my dream car when I was much younger. Now, I’m fortunate enough to have two BMWs, but not that one. Jealous much, congrats on the car and the watch, nice match.

I lucked into this thing. It was in rough shape so my dad and I did most of the work ourselves and fixed it up over a 2 year period. I also have a 2002, e36 m3, and a 328 wagon.
She looks and I guessing also sounds amazing!!! I am also a BMW fan myself but only have two modern models for the needs of the family, a 118i and a 520d touring. I would like one day to own a 2002, a e46 6cylinder and a e24..😌
Great car, great watch, very classy pairing 👌🏻

Haha, cars will always be my first love. Although I could sell a couple off and pick up my 1655 grail.... hmmm
Now that is a rare thing of beauty!! I have an M135i which replaced my M140i but your car is a proper timeless classic. Bravo!!

I love the 1 series cars.
My vintage items of all kinds tend to seamlessly integrate into my life such that I don't pay them much mind, but I guess it does make sense to have a thematic match that is not overtly anachronistic.
For no good reason, this article on the overlap of car lovers and watch lovers:

Man, I love watches, I do, more than cars. But for 40K that costs a Rolex 1655, I would rather get an Alfa Romeo Spider instead (one of my all time favorite cars):
I can't believe I've just said that 🙄
