I bought this Hermes watch for 拢8 on ebay, I don't think the watch has any connection with the famous French luxury brand . I was going to polywatch the crystal then sell it but my wife loves it and has stolen it.

The second hand has a really smooth sweep so I thought I'd take a look inside, did not expect this tiny movement.

Farer, Christopher Ward, Roger Smith, Fears, Bamford. This is the way.

Get this guy behind the British big guns, man don't need no AP or a Rolex.

Does anyone know how the thieves cash in on these stolen luxury watches? Are they sold on to a fence for ten cents on the dollar, are they exchanged for drugs? Also at some point these watches must resurface on the conventional market again, perhaps Chrono24 or ebay, and there must be many law abiding watch owners walking around with stolen property on their wrists.

They've not even attempted the font, I don't think this deserves to be called a fake.

That is a beauty, I'm going to try to find another one

Thanks for that, I just dropped it in with a local company called Watchguy. I've used them a few times to service my Omega and an old Breitling and didn't think they'd want to touch this but they're taking a look and hopefully it's not knackered.聽

Absolutely, if these were cars we'd have service histories and ownership details that would give us a fair idea of the history of what we owned. I'm wearing a 60 year old Swiss chronograph and I have no idea where it's been. This watch has been on the wrists of people we will never know, it's been in the room and witnessed terrible moments and wonderful events, it's seen champagne and tears in abundance and that's what kills me about old watches, they never tell us what they've seen.

For my birthday yesterday my son bought me a 拢28 fake Mercury MoonSwatch. it weighs nothing and feels flimsy as hell but I have to wear it tonight.

The Pan Europ was never meant to have a bracelet but I love how it looks on this Engineer.

The Pan Europe is a 43mm watch but to keep the size wearable for smaller wrists Hamilton designed it with a 45mm lug-to-lug. As you can see the 22mm l...
