NWA: The one and only PAM
One last huge NWA before the luxury tax starts implying in Malaysia.
It’s an open secret to all my watch friends that I’m a hater of Panerai due to all exposure done by Perezcope in recent years.
In fact, I still have negative impressions towards this brand. Nonetheless, I wish they will keep improve and do better in the future as this brand has something that none of the other brands have (or at least equal to them): the charisma.
This brand has so many legendary models during the past, and so many brands that is more prestigious (JLC, GP, Piaget, Angelus, Minerva, Venus, and of course Rolex) than them has provided movement for them, shows how big and how unique this brand was back then.
47mm, sandwich dial, handwinding movement, 1950 case, I believe I have most of the essential elements all gathered in one package: the legendary 422. Beside other legends like the 372, 673, 721, 720 and such.
Tastes change, now I’m gradually moving towards big watches and this might be the only, or the beginning of it.
