The Cartier De Santos Large Review
I love my Cartier De Santos Large. It’s the perfect blend of classic and sporty.
True to its roots, it’s full of history. The shape like a bird’s eye view of the Eiffel Tower. The classic Jem used as the crown.
Sporty, it’s got a very nice bracelet with a calf-leather option. the crown and crown guards are more pronounced than the santos dumont.
Pros: it’s so comfortable to wear. The calibre and the date function is a wonderful addition. I love how Cartier have designed their bracelets and straps to be quick change options.
Cons: the stainless classic option is a scratch magnet. Other than this. It’s perfect!!!
If you are looking for a watch with multiple options. This is the classic daily watch. You can use it for sports, dinner functions, even doing a bit of tool work around the house.
the design, weight and wearability is amazing. I am so amazed by how it fits perfectly on the wrist. You know it’s there but it doesn’t intrude on your daily activity. It wraps around my wrist Just nice and snug without being too tight. The butterfly bracelet is better designed than other brands. It doesn't snag hairs, pinch skin and irritate.
The Cartier Santos Is perfect the way it’s designed. It’s as though Jewlers took time to know how it will feel on the wrist. I love that the designers have so many strap options in calf leather, Apple leather and even after market options. Watches with versatile straps make it more friendly for wearing. I love this aspect of most Cartier watches.
Glad I made this purchase. Hope this community will give it a go for 2023 purchases.

I love the Santos! But somehow the classic Santos Dumont is my go-to. I love how it has a classic feel and how it wears. Every wrist has a unique fit. Mine is the Dumont.
Any leather straps for it yet? I'd think that'd be a way to reduce the overall scratch burden a little.
I've got to try one of these on my wrist. I've got a 6inch and flat wrist that I'm nervous won't work with the size. But as we've discussed b4, this size of the Must model is the only one worth considering ❤

This comes with a calf leather strap as well. It’s value for money. I went to the Cartier boutique and they have many other options as well. Santos and tank. I love them both.

I love Cartier, and the Santos line in particular. I find some of their large or extra large watches look huge on me. Ironic considering most people view Cartier watches as small.

I had to order straps from Cartier Boutique as the Santos does not have the same quick link as the Cartier Tank. All in all...both are great.
